Mitten State

You girls are in Michigan right now with your Dad staying in Novi. Tabitha loves it, loves the time with her cousins and loves the snow. She asked to stay two more days. Dad asked Tilly: 

“So, do you like Michigan?!”... 

“No.” 

“So, do you love Florida?!” 

“Yes.”

“Is Michigan too cold?”

“Yes.”

Tabitha’s closet zoo

I spoke with a friend a few days ago about how to best communicate with you. You want your space in many ways - whether not being looked at,or having your door shut. You always want things the way you want them - building forts in the living room, setting up a “zoo” in your closet (all of the stuffed animals are in their own little cubby or box or cup etc), etc. It is awesome how assured you are and specific in what you want. The only thing this Mommy needs to learn to do so allow that space because SHE IS ALSO PARTICULAR ABOUT WANTING THINGS THE WAY SHE WANTS THEM. 😊😊 In being your awesome self, you are helping me be better, more flexible person and I thank you! 💕💕💕

Play snuggles

Tilly, you have lately been asking if I can “play snuggles” which basically means we hug and tickle and snuggle on the floor together. What. A. Charmer. Tonight you kept pointing to me and you and saying “me and mommy snuggle! Mommy and me snuggle! You and me!”. My heart!!!

Tabby, yesterday I heard you in the shower playing with your toys. You were so sweet to the toys- singing and talking to all of them. You set themup in a very particular manner and today when we got to my house you insisted that Tilly take a bath, not a shower, so that she wouldn’t mess up your toys 💕😊

Eating Bugs

Tabitha, today I cleaned your eye crusties. You said “hey don’t take those! Those are my eating bugs.” Because apparently you love eating eye crusties.🙄

More Hug!

Yesterday Tabby and I went fishing in the Hillsborough River. Tab LOVED it. We caught nothing but we checked out different places to fish, we had snacks, we saw gators, bugs and lots of turtles. It was awesome!

Tonight when I put Tilly to sleep she said “more hug” asking for more time snuggling together. God. She is the best.
